Welcome to Winchester Scouts, the gateway to Scouting in Winchester.
We are one of the largest and fastest growing Districts in Hampshire – England’s biggest Scouting County with over 17,500 youth members.
We are big in Spirit and big on Adventurous Activities. We are also huge on International & Expeditions with all of Gambia, Uganda, Tanzania, Iceland and the World Jamboree in 2015. We are also big into Community Impact.
Within the District we have Pinsent Scout Campsite for activities, camping and events.
Hampshire is the largest Scout County in the UK with over 21,770 youth and adult members.
Our membership has shown successive year-on-year growth since 2005, increasing by over 30%. Scouting in Hampshire has an impressive Community action history at home and abroad with expeditions teams going to Malawi, Belize, Tanzania, Uganda, and even summiting Mt Everest in the process.
